Is Less Pre-Launch Content Actually Holding You Back?

If you’d told me even a week ago that creating more pre-launch content would feel easier than less, I’d have rolled my eyes at you. 

But here I am, several days into a 90-day visibility challenge—posting on Instagram five days a week, recording podcast episodes, sending emails—and guess what?

It’s not a slog — and in fact, it actually feels easier. 

What changed?

I realized I was being precious about my pre-launch content.

Overthinking every post.
Spending too much time polishing.
Waiting for “perfect.”

My friend Jenna Harding told me, but I didn’t believe her:  When you only plan to post once or twice a week, every post starts to feel like it has to carry the weight of your entire marketing strategy.

But once I committed to showing up more? I didn’t have time to overthink. To re-record that video where I have a double chin. To worry if my “hook” wasn’t good enough.

I  just had to get it done.

Why “More” Can Be Easier

Creating more pre-launch content doesn’t mean creating random pre-launch content. It means creating from a place of clarity.

When you know your offers, your messaging, and your niche—when you’re dialed into what your audience needs—you can create consistent pre-launch content faster.

Not every piece has to be a viral hit. But consistency builds momentum. And momentum builds visibility.

Here’s what I’ve learned so far:

  • Perfection is a productivity killer. Let your pre-launch content be good enough—and get it out there.
  • Message clarity creates ease. When you know what you’re saying and who you’re saying it to, you can stop spinning.
  • Visibility comes from volume + intention. Show up often, with a message that matters.
