Two-Week Pre-Launch Plans That Matter When Time Is Tight

You’re two weeks out. Cart’s about to open. Nerves are loud. Your two-week pre-launch plan? Just a whisper.

Before you try to cram six weeks of content into two (or worse, throw the whole thing out), take a breath. You’re not too late. And you’re not alone.

This week on Before the Launch, I’m answering a subscriber question:
“What do I do if I only have two weeks to pre-launch?”

The short answer? You can still make it work—with strategy, not stress.

Why Your Two-Week Pre-Launch Still Matters (Even If You’re “Behind”)

Skipping pre-launch is the real mistake. Your people still need a runway—especially if you’re not a household name yet.I once worked with Kevin Rogers from Copy Chief with just two weeks. We focused on what actually moves buyers and finished 130% over goal. It’s doable. You just have to be strategic.

4 Clarity Questions to Guide Your Two-Week Pre-Launch

You don’t need a giant content calendar. You need direction. Ask:

  • How warm is your audience?
Ad traffic (colder) needs trust and context; podcast/organic (warmer) can handle specifics faster.

  • Where are they on the Awareness Journey?
Problem-aware? Solution-aware? Offer-aware? Or chasing the wrong fix? Match content to their stage.

  • What’s the price point?
    A $37 workshop ≠ a $10K mastermind. And low-ticket doesn’t mean low-effort. (Jen Hatmaker started pre-launching her book nine months early for a reason.)

  • What knowledge gaps exist?
If they don’t “get” the core concept, they won’t buy the offer. Educate now, not in your sales page.

Your job in a two-week pre-launch

Think buyer readiness, not content volume:

  • Tell them what’s coming (no secrets).
  • Fill the must-know gaps.
  • Name the real problem (and the wrong turns).
  • Offer a better way to think about the decision.

Two weeks is enough if you stick to what matters!

Ready to make those two weeks count?

Inside The Pre-Launch Plan Program, we tailor your runway to your offer, audience, and timeline—six weeks or six days.

LAUNCH AND MESSAGING
STRATEGIST & COPYWRITER

Before the Launch is where I say the things I usually reserve for private calls and DMs—because you deserve the real story behind what actually works when it comes to launches.

I help entrepreneurs (like you) pre-sell offers, warm up buyers, and make selling feel a heck of a lot less stressful.

This podcast helps you figure out what to say (and when to say it) so your audience is ready to buy before you ever open the cart.
